Melodie Heupel
MS, LPC, NCC
Melodie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is licensed in both Oklahoma and South Dakota. She received her Master’s from South Dakota State University in Community Counseling and her Bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University earning a degree in Sociology with minors in both Political Science and Psychology. She has been with Edwin Fair Mental Health Center for over 20 years. She has worked in a variety of clinical setting throughout her tenure. She is very passionate about addressing the mental health needs in the community. Melodie has spent the majority of her time supervising over 100 clinicians. She is a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist and is a CARF Surveyor (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for the past seven years.

Kelly Smith TroutmanLPC
Kelly has worked for Edwin Fair Mental Health Center for 13 years; she is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Associates Degree in Physical Education at Northern Oklahoma College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Kelly enjoys working with the people in Kay county providing mental health services for teens and adults, she is also a certified grief counselor.

Jeanine VestLMA, LPC, NCC
Jeanine is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University. She has experience and training in multiple clinical settings including community mental health, inpatient crisis, military family support, intellectually disabled adult day program, and drug rehab center. Jeanine uses a variety of therapeutic techniques geared towards each client’s individual and unique needs. Her overall goal is to meet each client where they are, then help them improve towards living their best life possible!

Barbi WimberleyBHRS, CM11
Barbie is a Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist and a Case-Manager 11. She received her BS in Human Environmental Sciences Family Relations and Child Development. She has trained in community mental health, school-based services, and the Systems of Care Program. Barbie offers teaching coping skills for anger management, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, self-esteem, and grief and loss. Barbie also helps Individuals with their needs in Food, Clothing and Shelter. She is a culturally sensitive clinician who is passionate about serving children and adults. Barbie has been at Edwin Fair going on 21 years.

Kristi CarrMedication Clinic Secretary
Kristi is the Medication Clinic Secretary and has been with Edwin Fair for four years. She greets patients and does the scheduling for the clinic. Prior to this, she worked for Dr. Alzira Vaidya and Dr. Shrikrishna Vaidya in Ponca City for 16 years as their clinic secretary for their private practice. Kristi has been in the medical field for over 20 years.

Steven M. MalloryMS, LPC, LADC
Steve is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and an Ordained Episcopal Clergyman. He has a Master’s degree in Counseling and has provided comprehensive counseling services at Edwin Fair Center for almost 39 years. He specializes in treating adults and families dealing with mental illness, substance abuse problems and sex offenders. He is a Vietnam Era Navy Veteran who specializes in treating veterans with PTSD and substance abuse problems. Additionally, he provides Christian and faith-based counseling services to individuals and families.

Kathy GeorgeCertified Peer Recovery Specialist
Kathy George, PRSS is a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and has been with Edwin Fair since 2015 starting as a Receptionist. In 2016 she went to classes at the Department of Mental Health in Oklahoma City and earned her certification. She is the first person you will talk to after filling out your application for services. She enjoys being able to listen to people and helps them to find resources to help them in their everyday lives.

Karen Beth RichmondLevel 1 Case Manager
Beth is a Level I Case Manager and Recovery Support Specialist. She has an Associate’s Degree from Norther Oklahoma College in business. She has, however, been with Edwin Fair Mental Health Center for 19 ½ years and has had extensive experience working in the mental health field, and she has great compassion for the people she serves. She has been given the role of Recovery Support Specialist due to her many years experiencing mental illness herself. This experience has greatly qualified her as an advocate of the mentally ill.

Krystal LawsonCMII/BHRS, MA Sociology
Krystal Lawson is a Case Manager II/Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Specialist at Edwin Fair. Krystal received her Master of Arts in Sociology from Texas Tech University. Krystal received her BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. She is currently partaking in a Master of Counseling Psychology program through Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she is learning the skills necessary for obtaining licensure as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. As a Case Manager, Krystal provides stabilization services such as assisting consumers in finding housing, employment, medical care, accessing local resources for food, utility assistance, etc. As a rehabilitative specialist, Krystal provides education about the skills needed to maintain housing, employment, engage with, and in accessing needed resources. Krystal carries out these skills teaching through both one-on-one individual rehabilitation appointments, and through rehabilitation skills groups.

Gina ClarkLPC
Gina is an Adult and Child Therapist who has worked for Edwin Fair for over sixteen years. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a minor in Social Work. She has trained in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, school-based counseling, and private practice. Gina offers holistic, trauma-informed therapy tailored to fit the needs of individuals experiencing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and identity issues as well as grief & loss. She is a culturally-sensitive clinician who is passionate about serving children and adults of all ages and color. Gina is working on a program to include pet therapy as she also knows the importance of companionship in people’s lives.

April LeeData Processing
April Lee started with Edwin Fair as the receptionist in July of 2007. April moved to the Data Processing Department later that same month. Now, April handles all of data processing duties including billing, insurances, staff credentialing, and any software usage issues. April also handles payroll, Accounts payable, accounts receivable and HR. Her favorite part of the job is the friendly and supportive staff she works with, the positive mental health vision of Edwin Fair and the honorable way business is conducted. April enjoys Mayfest, held every May to promote mental health month. It is always a fun and busy time, well worth the time and effort to get the facts of Mental health to the community.

Anita PedigoReceptionist
Anita has enjoyed her work with Edwin Fair Mental Health Center for 11 years and is a familiar face to a number of clients. She began her work as the main Receptionist and then volunteered as Adult Intake Reception. She took a leave of absence and returned to fill the position again as part-time receptionist. Prior to her work at Edwin Fair, she was a real estate closer with a large title company in Oklahoma City.

Joy HavensVolunteer
Joy Havens is currently volunteering several hours each month with Edwin Fair Mental Health Center. She also works with the Edwin Fair Board of Directors. Joy retired in 2019, after 46 years with Edwin Fair Mental Health Center. During that time she did payroll, was Director of Human Resources, building management and at the time of retirement, Safety and Wellness Director.
